Thanks to the mandrel guide and servo-driven booster, tight bending radii of up to 2.5 times the profile width can be achieved — for example, a 60 mm wide cabin profile can be bent to R180.
At the same time, cross-sectional tolerances are reliably maintained, even with challenging or thin-walled hollow profiles.

The synchronized motion between booster and bending rolls ensures excellent surface quality and prevents wrinkling or deformation. The result: precise and repeatable bends, ideal for series production with consistent quality.

The mandrel bending device is mechanically coupled to the bending machine and can be mounted or removed in less than five minutes – for maximum flexibility and minimal downtime.

Mandrel Bending Device MBD4

The MBD4 is designed for precise, slip-free bending of hollow profiles. It is ideal for applications requiring tight radii, narrow tolerances, and high repeatability.

With a 6-meter profile feed unit and a pushing force of approx. 4,000 kg, the MBD4 can bend hollow profiles up to 2.5 times the profile width in a single pass.

The CNC-controlled servo technology allows for accurate coordination of the mandrel and booster feed – ensuring distortion-free, dimensionally stable bends, even with complex profile geometries.

Mandrel bending device MBD20

The MBD20 is the high-performance solution for precision bending of hollow profiles in a single operation – even with tight radii and thin-walled materials.

Equipped with a 6-meter profile feed unit, a peak pushing force of 200 kN, an integrated mandrel retraction system, and automatic mandrel lubrication, the MBD20 offers maximum process reliability and repeatable results.

The CNC-controlled booster ensures smooth, accurate profile feed – eliminating slippage and deformation, even during tight-radius bending.
