Controls that are intelligent, automated and networked. Since 1992 PBT has been pioneering the development of control systems for profile bending machines. PBT's controls provide a world-class interface between a manufacturer’s design specification and precisely bent profile parts.

High efficiency and repeatable precision created through intelligent systems. PBT's digital control systems allow operators intuitive operation without deep experience in programming. Even complex forms and demanding materials can be manufactured without many years of programming know-how. By adding an automatic radius measurement system to a PBT profile bending machine, operators can create perfect bends even on the first trial. For many radii, it is possible to achieve all nominal values without rejects, and costly and time-consuming test runs. In most cases even changed material properties can be handled without problems.

System integration and Internet connection provide for data exchange between design engineer and operator, remote maintenance by PBT experts and server-side data backup. Due to the open system of the Siemens S7-1200 software integrated into the PC400, the PBT control becomes the central control system of machine periphery, including supplementary modules, robots, saws, and MMS.
