Almost 4,000 kilometres. 600 kg of CO2 saved. And one friendly rivalry that got slightly out of hand. 🚴
Half the team took part in Bike to Work again this year, with colleagues at PBT Germany riding along too. Two months of leaving the car at home and pedalling in to work instead.
Somewhere along the way it quietly turned into a kilometre battle. Nobody would admit it. Everybody was checking the standings.
We kept the riders going with snacks and something sweet for the breaks, which may or may not have cancelled out a few of those kilometres. 🙈

How are companies really using AI and automation, and where does the real value emerge?
That was the question at an event hosted by acreo consulting ag and Balz Zuerrer, where Philipp joined a group of peers to compare notes.
For us, AI is one relevant building block in digitalization, nothing more and nothing less. The exchange was genuinely interesting and we took a lot from it.

What a day.
On June 18 in Weinfelden, we hosted our Bending Day Switzerland. A small but seriously high-calibre group, with people in from Czechia, the Netherlands, the USA, Germany, Denmark, and Switzerland.
One shared obsession: bending. 🤓
Plenty to dig into: 3D bending and where it is heading, live mandrel bending on the PBT35, a walkthrough of the Stierli Bieger AG line from André Burkard, and sharp perspectives on AI in industry from David Hemmi.

Markus just wrapped up the commissioning of a brand-new #PBT25 PC400 at Komfort Partners-Aluminum and glass facade solutions in Eu \(Bulgaria\). And by the looks on everyone's faces, it went pretty well. 😄
Façade profiles, window profiles, tight radii - the PBT25 PC400 handles all of it with the precision you'd expect from a Swiss-made machine.

What a Bending Day. 🤯
On May 7, we opened the doors at PBT Germany for our first Bending Day of 2026, and the energy was something else.
An invitation-only group of customers, partners, and industry professionals came together for a full day of live bending, good conversations, and a couple of surprises we did not see coming ourselves.
Peter Sting and the team ran live demos on the shop floor, from our latest machines with PC400 control all the way to an ARKUS that has been bending profiles since 1991. Nearly three decades of Swiss precision, still going strong. Amazed? You should be!

What a Bending Day! A big thank you to Schachermayer GmbH for hosting this fantastic event - bringing all bending technologies together under one roof.
It was a packed day of live demonstrations, technical insights, and great conversations with industry professionals.
